ShredLaps! Snowboarding in Jackson Hole.

Shredding around the backcountry with my friend Charles. I'm riding the Howard 156 this day. The board is a little small, but handles really well regardless. After one run it was feeling good!

To live, be alive. To be alive, practice the Art of Dying

A few years ago as I was going through my Saturn Return, I engaged in some deeper practices that helped me transition into what feels to me now like my waking life. As I was going through some of the more challenging processes, I experienced what felt like dying. I have a memory from when I was six years old of being in conversation with my father and saying to him that I was afraid, and that I did not want to die. He told me I wouldn't have to worry about that for a long time.

Waiting with anticipation

Waiting, waiting, waiting. I am like a little kid waiting for christmas to arrive. When something has the power to make your mind work to anticipate with excitement, it turely is a wonderful thing. So few things are still able to give us such simple pleasure, these things are to be treasured. The excitement off the snow and the ability to lose yourself in the moment on the snow. This is snowboarding.

Awaiting the Evolver

Just awaiting the arival of the new evolver 157. first hit out will be Japan in feb 2012 given its sunny summer here.
